more summer fun

We love summer in NYC. A few of Clint's siblings and families made it to NY (unfortunately on some of the hottest days of the year) and then we spent a week in CA with the Peterson clan. Family time really is magical. Even though my kids don't see their extended family much, there still exists a strong love and affinity for one another that is unique.
 
Both kids are really growing up--here we are on Park Ave, Sam straining to reach the elevator button, and a Saturday row boat excursion on the Central Park lagoon
 
We had great visits from the DowDells and Wheelers (highlights included Shake Shack and Natural History fountains) and Petersons who accompanied us to the US Open
 
Getting to CA is always a bit of a chore, but we are always glad once we arrive--straight to the pool!
 
Some favorites for Josie included picking apples, cousin camp, and a special horseback "riding" treat
