halloween

Halloween was a hit with both kids. Josie opted to be a "pink pig." She was the same thing last year so must really like pigs. Sam joined in the farm theme and was quite an adorable cow. We were unsure if Halloween would go on as usual given the havoc Hurricane Sandy caused, but the city pressed on. I love trick-or-treating in the city--many of the brownstones do elaborate decorations and hand out treats. We usually start there and then visit apartments in our building. With little ones, it's an ideal way to do it.
