May was spent visiting family in Milwaukee and Salt Lake. My youngest brother, Tim, graduated from Marquette Law School. Nearly all of the Hassell family was able to gather to celebrate with him. We also had the chance to visit the church where my dad was baptized and converted to the Mormon church when he was interning during college. Coincidentally, Tim and his wife, Anna, now attend church at that same building. Earlier in May, Josie and I spent a week in Salt Lake visiting the Peterson clan. Clint had business in CA so was able to join for both weekends. We had a great time playing with cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. It's such a treat to get time with family!

Time with the graduate; the church where my dad was baptized over 40 years ago
Josie and I in the baptismal font; Josie was fascinated with Tim's beard; on Marquette campus in front of the Joan of Arc Chapel
Great walks while in Salt Lake; Josie loved Grandma's goose
Time with Grandma's chickens; she wasn't too happy when she got close and they pecked at her fingers; happiness soon returned when she got dinner at Grandma's
