We had a wonderful Easter weekend, complete with sunny and warm weather and Clint having some time off. It makes everything more enjoyable. We had a few adventures including one to the Bronx Botanical Gardens to see the renowned orchid exhibit. Despite excessively slow trains and several hundred other people that had the same idea (two tough things about living in NY), it was worth the trek. The orchids were amazing. I'd love to live in a climate conducive to growing a wide variety of orchids. For now, I'll have to be content with a few that I manage to grow indoors.
And what weekend could be complete without rambling through Central Park, now with blooming trees to admire. To further get in the Easter spirit, Clint and Josie decorated some eggs. This year her "helping" involved cracking a few, trying desperately to spill the dye, and eating the hardboiled eggs. We're looking forward to next year when she'll be able to help decorate.

Easter eggs, thanks to Clint
Sheep Meadow in Central Park is finally open

Just arrived and happy admiring the orchids; enjoying playing in the water (she would have jumped in had I given her the chance)
Josie lost interest in the orchids but found interest in pulling my hair; the subway ride home was a bit rough on a tired one-year-old

Those orchids are beautiful. I'm impressed that you managed to grow some yourself.
Looks like a beautiful spring. Thomas has the same "necklace" - he loves it, though he may lose his necklace privileges soon as he is apparently wrecking the frisbee. And I must note that Josie is looking adorable, as always.
diana, i love this post. the pictures are amazing and josey is adorable as ever!! xo
