Fall is a wonderful time of year here. Kids are back in school (so playgrounds are left for the smaller children), the leaves are changing, the weather is still (mostly) pleasant, and so we savor the outdoor time before winter hits. Halloween was especially fun with Josie this year now that she's starting to get it. I asked her what she wanted to be, and she was adamant about being a "pink pig." Seeing her go after the candy with her little pig outfit was a sight to behold!

Visits with grandmas--Josie with Clint's mom in NY and Sam with my grandmother during a quick trip to Utah

Quality time--hours coloring with me; pumpkin carving with Clint (as you can see, Josie did not like the "goop")

Pretty cute pink pig! And Sam, wearing Josie's first costume, was a wonderful bear. Trick-or-treating consisted mostly of going to the apartments in our building via the elevator. This proved to be a wonderful way to do it with little ones

cutest pig and bear ever! okay, emery has that exact same little scooter but hasn't had the patience (or desire maybe) to figure it out! i thought maybe she was still too young for it but seeing josie on it makes me realize she's definitely NOT!
I could not stop laughing when I saw Josie on that scooter. That is awesome. She is already cool. Cute costumes too!
