ny holiday season and visitors

Despite the cold, December is one of my favorite months--I love the buzz of the holidays and any chance to see family. This year, we had most of Clint's family visit NY - his parents and 4 of 5 sisters came for a weekend mid-December, and his brother and wife came for New Years. Christmas day, however, we enjoyed as just our family of three. Josie makes Christmas so much more fun for us, even if she likes the wrapping paper and boxes as much as new toys.

A trip through Macy's North Pole to finally end up on Santa's lap--clearly a bit anti-climatic for both of them
Christmas morning--"stockings!"
A visit from Clint's parents and 4 of his sisters (we were sorry to have missed Sarah)--nearly everyone got a try with the backpack, though we only captured a few digitally
Josie loved storytime with her aunts; Josie ("pill face" at church the first Sunday of 2011) was so disappointed to see Alex and Ben leave after New Years (as were we)
A few Josie sitings--how we get around now that it is cold; music and gym classes

At left, playing in snow-covered Sheep Meadow, obsessed with riding the "snow duck"; at right with her space harness, apparently: "Mama, I getting ready to go in space ship. To outer space."

LOVE the picture of Josie with her cello! She already looks so grown up!
