thanksgiving

My oldest brother and his family came to NYC for Thanksgiving. His wife has a sister who lives just a few blocks from us, and we were all able to share Thanksgiving together. We loved going to see the balloons the night before the parade (Josie's favorite was Horton), the parade itself, and lots of good food throughout the week. Thanksgiving is everything a holiday should be--family, food, and time to reflect on our many blessings. However, I did comment to Clint that we've entered a new Thanksgiving phase--no longer can we sit and enjoy the meal for hours. For the foreseeable future, we are overseers as the next generation grows up. It's a great stage to be in...most of the time!

The feasters
Post-feast festivities
Other weekend activities included Museum of Natural History and brunch for Becca's birthday (note stickers on Josie's face--one of her favorite activities)

Not that I am the least bit surprised, but your meal looks amazing. And you and the fam are looking pretty good as well.
