end of summer

I don't know where the time went, but suddenly October is here. We were fortunate to have wonderful visitors in August and a short golf trip to Florida (thanks to my parents for watching Josie) to commemorate the end of summer. Fall will be spent outside as long as the weather permits, and then searching for suitable activities when it doesn't. One thing we're currently trying is "art" class--basically a 45-minute exercise in gooey chaos. I love it, mostly because she seems to like it but also because I don't end up with paint on my walls. And check out the last picture for some news...
Art class ended up being on her face...
Feeding sheep and goats, and then riding a mystery animal in her summer uniform - crocs and a swimsuit
Visitors included Clint's sister, Sarah, and her daughter Abby, and my Aunt Michele, Uncle Steve, and cousin Allie
A great time golfing (Clint got two birdies in a round) with family and friends
Picking tomatoes and raspberries with grandpa (Josie couldn't inhale enough raspberries during her stay)
She quickly became grandma's little sweetie
Going retro in one of my dresses when I was her age--check out that pose!

Big news--baby #2 will be joining us in February around Josie's 2nd birthday (gender TBD)
