11/18 - 11/20 hong kong

Our last stop before Thanksgiving in the US, Hong Kong couldn’t be more different from Lhasa. It is commercialism at it’s best (or worst depending on how you see things). We walked around Victoria Peak (amazing green space on an expensive and crowded island), went up the world’s longest escalator, saw the lights of Causeway Bay, visited the famous markets of Kowloon, and enjoyed the diversity and busy atmosphere of one of the world’s most expensive cities. And of course, since we'd reunited with old Boston friends, we had to go bowling. (Due to a very lucky 4 strikes in a row, Clint won - lucky punk!) We think it would definitely be a great place to live for a few years…

From Victoria Peak (what is with the haze everywhere in China?)
About to board the ferry in Causeway Bay
The never-ending quest for the perfect bag
Buy, buy, buy!
Super fun bowling with the Boston girls (Jessica, you made it!)

I've officially dubbed this trip The Trip of the Century. I love it.
