may happenings

May was full of celebrations. Most significant for our family was Sam being blessed (similar to christening) by Clint over Memorial Day. Clint's parents joined us for the weekend and we were thrilled to finally have a weekend of good weather. We also attended the weddings of two friends--an Indian wedding here in NY and and a beach wedding in Mexico (sadly, only Sam and I were able to attend that one). Both were beautiful and we were so pleased to share the day with the lovely couples.
Our family on Sam's special day--finally a family picture!
Best buds
Three generations of Clintons in the picture--Joel Clinton, Clinton Randall, and Samuel Clinton (and perhaps another one looking on, great grandpa Clinton E.?)
Wonderful Saturday with Peterson grandparents in Central Park--included brunch at The Boathouse, Bethesda Fountain, and a wander through the Rambles. Summer is finally here.
Lots of shoulder rides!
Clint's friend from college invited us to his wedding, and it was incredible. It was our first Indian wedding, and it included closing off a street in Tribeca to accommodate him on a horse and a bhangra dance party paving the way for him. Such a fun, beautiful, and elaborate wedding!
A dear friend from my Bain days got married in Playa del Carmen, so Sam and I made the trip. Wonderful to reconnect with great friends, the wedding was amazing, and Sam even got to "swim" in the ocean for the first time. Wish Clint and Josie could have come!

Your children are so cute! I hope their cousin takes after them! I love that Josie has the quintessential New York life as a toddler :)
