christmas and new years in salt lake

Our last holiday season without baby was spent in Salt Lake with family. Days were spent in typical holiday fashion--lots of great food, catching up on sleep, celebrating birthdays (four while we were there), ice skating, skiing, and many game nights, among other things. The holiday season is a magical time with uninterrupted time with family.
Winter wonderland in Salt Lake on Christmas
My attempts at craftiness before Christmas in NY

Christmas Eve feast and nativity reenactment, where I got to be Mary being "large with child."
Christmas morning with the Petersons (now numbering at 26 with 2 more on the way)
Clint and his niece, Abby, who knitted this Christmas beanie for him
 Celebrating my grandmother's 87th birthday

Ice skating for Jeremy's 8th birthday with most of the Peterson clan
Three-year-old Susie was fascinated with my belly
Slumber party! Every child's dream--a cousin sleepover
New Year's Eve with the Hassells in Park City celebrating my Mom's birthday
Petersons paintballing--perhaps a family New Years tradition???

Finally a picture where you can see a bit of a belly - Diana you are looking great! The stockings are quite impressive - I didn't expect them to be so intricate. Very nice work. My domesticity was confined to baking this year; maybe in time I can tackle more than just food!
